Rogers Communications and XM Canada sign comprehensive content deal

XM Canada and Rogers Communications announced they have reached an agreement to provide XM Canada content across the Rogers Wireless, Cable and Internet platforms.

The agreement is the first of its kind for Canada, as XM and Rogers will form a comprehensive partnership that brings XM programming to Rogers customers regardless of whether they are using a wireless handset, watching cable television or surfing the Internet.

The new Rogers-XM Canada service launched this week as part of the Rogers VISION suite of services that provides wireless customers with an entirely new mobile multimedia experience. On their wireless platform, Rogers is offering customers up to 25 channels of XM commercial-free music programming, as well as the best in comedy, sports, entertainment and talk.
